About Us

Happy Fish was founded in 2007 by Jay, Kay and Jacqueline who devoted their time to learn and research the swimming industry. They saw the need to introduce efficacious swimming lessons to reduce the number of drowning accidents. Spearheading the trio, Jay sprung into action after realising how early childhood swimming develops motor, cognitive skills and the love for water in young children. He understood how unpredictable weathers and unclean pool water hindered parents sending their young children for swimming lessons. Grasping the opportunity to educate parents, he started the first indoor swimming pool and lovingly dedicated it to his first-born daughter, Laura.

Happy Fish Swim School spares no expense in keeping our swimming pools at the highest level of cleanliness and comfort for you and your family. We maintain our pools using electrolysis that breaks down salt to chlorine water. On top of that, we added UV sanitisation to take care of the by-products. This allows the little ones to swim comfortably even without their goggles.

Using the curated and developed syllabus, coaches also undergo stringent selection and training in order to guide parents to teach their little ones to swim. The methodology suits the Asian’s parenting styles as we see how Happy Fish skyrocketed to more than 10,000 students across the eleven branches in Singapore and Malaysia.

Swimming is a great family activity to celebrate parenthood and foster strong bonds. Currently a 200-strong team, Happy Fish is working towards conquering at least 10 countries in Asia.

Our Mission Statement

Happy Fish Swim School seeks to be a socially responsible company to provide and promote swimming lessons to all ages. Through  environmentally friendly indoor swimming pools, open engagement with the communities, Happy Fish Swim School strive to grow and inspire other swim schools to positively impact people and communities.

Our Approach To Sustainability

At Happy Fish Swim School, we spare no expense in keeping our swimming pools at the highest level of cleanliness and comfort for you and your family.

Our cutting edge pool filtration and sanitisation system go against conventional cleaning methods and we save thousands litres of water by reducing the need to drain the pools and fill them up again.

All our branches in Singapore run on renewable energy for our daily operations. A fossil-fuel driven infrastructure drives the negative impact of greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide and methane) and the toxic build-up in the air, water and soil. Over the years, an accumulation of such emissions have led climate changes to be a pressing issue for the world. Rising temperatures, sea-levels and disrupted water systems are all evidences of these lasting effects.

Choosing renewable energy has positive effects on the environment. Renewable energy derived from natural resources such as sun and wind – have the capacity to replenish themselves. One example is solar energy. It causes little, or no, damage to the environment.

The heat pumps also serve as our air-conditioners! Air conditioners generate cold air to the room and release hot air to the surroundings. On the other hand, our heat pumps generate cold air to the surroundings and send warm water to our pools at the same time. This reduces consumption of extra electricity from air conditioning at our branches.

Creating Social Impact Since 2007

We offer swimming lessons for all ages and competencies. Our mission is to equip this lifeskill to everyone. With private lessons or group classes, we are confident to help non-swimmers to become confident swimmers. We create a relaxing and enjoyable learning experience with our dedicated team and conducive environment.

Happy Fish started out with the founder as the only instructor, but carrying the dream to introduce efficacious swimming lessons to reduce the number of drowning accidents. Currently with a 200-strong team, Happy Fish is working towards to conquer at least 10 countries in Asia.

We believe that every person has the innate ability to swim – which is why we are one of the few schools who accept infants as young as 4 months old. We also believe that no one should be denied their chance to learn how to swim, thus opening classes for various backgrounds, such as aquaphobics and those who require more support in learning.

We are honoured to have your trust

This cute video is for parents or future parents!

Not everyday do you see babies learning how to swim and interacting with water for the first time ever!

Baby swimming seems like a new field and I couldn’t be happier to cover it with Jack and Jacklyn from Happy Fish Swim School in Singapore!

They have been watching Nas Daily for hundreds of days, so I’m glad we finally got to connect and make a video about their work! Thank you and keep up the good work!
